Specifications.

Presentation folders hold everything you hand over to a client on the day: the quote, the project brief, a business card, sometimes a USB. They look professional and they keep the paperwork together.

Interlocking folders go together without glue (flat-pack flat, assemble in seconds) and are our most popular style. Glued folders are pre-assembled. Add a capacity spine for bulkier packs.

Frequently asked.

Interlocking or glued folders: which is better?
Interlocking presentation folders are our most popular. They are printed and die-cut flat, so they ship and store flat, and the user assembles them in seconds by slotting the flaps together. That makes them cheaper to post and store, and you can fold them down again after the meeting if you want to reuse them. Glued folders are pre-assembled at our Bracknell print shop, which means they are ready to use straight away but take up more storage space and cost slightly more. For 90 percent of corporate use cases, interlocking is the right call.
Can I add a business card slot?
Yes. Most presentation folders we print include two diagonal slits on the inside pocket that hold a standard 85 × 55 mm business card in place. This is a small die-cut detail that costs very little to add but makes a real difference when handing over a client pack — your business card is right there where they can see it. Very popular for corporate client handovers, agency project packs, and real-estate property packs around Bracknell.
Do I need a capacity spine on the folder?
If you are putting more than about 20 sheets of A4 inside the folder, yes — without a spine the pocket will bulge, the folder will not close cleanly, and the whole pack looks slightly crumpled. A 5mm or 10mm capacity spine gives the pocket room to expand without distortion. For a one-off proposal or a thin welcome pack, a flat folder without a spine is fine and looks cleaner. Ask us what you plan to put inside and we will suggest the right spine width at the quote stage.
Can you design the folders for us?
Yes. Our in-house design team can take your existing brand and build the folder artwork around our die-line (the cutting template), which is the tricky bit for folder design. We will send a digital proof with the die-line overlaid, and we only go to print once you have approved it. Design is quoted separately from print, so you can see exactly what each piece costs. Very common for Bracknell businesses launching a new corporate identity and ordering folders alongside new business cards and letterheads.
What is the minimum order for presentation folders?
Fifty folders is our minimum. Most Bracknell corporate customers order 100 to 500 at a time, which keeps the per-folder cost sensible and gives you enough stock for 6 to 12 months of client meetings. Folders with foil or unusual finishes have a 100-folder minimum because of the setup involved. For 1,000+ folders we can quote litho-printed versions which work out marginally cheaper per unit on large runs.
Soft-touch, gloss, or matt lamination?
Soft-touch lamination is the most premium and feels lovely to hold — a slightly velvety surface that does not show fingerprints. Corporate customers who want their folder to feel expensive usually pick soft touch. Gloss is bold, shiny, and reads well with strong imagery but shows fingerprints easily. Matt is the classic choice — sophisticated, understated, no glare. For a tender document or premium proposal pack, soft touch is worth the small extra cost; for general day-to-day client meetings, matt is the workhorse choice.
