For a premium foil or letterpress invitation, 3-4 months before the wedding date. That gives time for design, proofs, production, and 6-8 weeks posting lead. For a digital-print invitation, 6-8 weeks before is fine. For genuinely late orders we can often do 2-3 weeks for digital with small runs.

Yes, using variable-data printing. Each invitation arrives with 'Dear Mr and Mrs Smith' or equivalent printed directly on the card. Similarly each place card can be named individually. Send us your guest list; the variable-data print is minimal additional cost.

Real foil is actual metallic foil (gold, silver, copper) pressed into the card after printing – reflective, tactile, genuinely premium. Digital foil is a CMYK simulation – looks OK in photographs but less striking in hand. For the main wedding invitation we recommend real foil; for RSVP cards and lower-cost pieces, digital is fine.
