Specifications.
Drilled calendars are the cost-saving version of the classic wall calendar. Instead of wiro binding (a spiral wire that lets each page flip up independently), drilled calendars are stapled along the top edge with a round hole drilled through to hang on a nail. Each month's page tears off at the end to reveal the next.
The appearance is similar to a wiro calendar from arms-length, but the cost per unit is around 30 to 40 percent lower because stapling is significantly faster than wire-binding. That makes drilled calendars the right choice for high-volume promotional distribution where cost per unit matters – 1,000 or 5,000 calendars to every customer on a database.
