Printed gift tags are one of the most visible, tactile print pieces a brand can produce – the tag is the first thing a recipient reads before opening the gift, and the first impression of the brand. Retail uses include swing tags on clothing, product hang tags, pricing tags, and organic/artisan food and drink bottles. Event uses include wedding favour tags, Christmas gift tags for corporate client gifts, and conference gift-bag tags.

We die-cut to any shape at our Bracknell print shop – rectangles with rounded corners (classic swing tag), squares, scalloped edges, circular, or fully custom shapes for brand-specific forms. Printed on 350gsm card stock with a punched hole at the top, ready to thread with string, ribbon, or cotton tie (all available as optional add-ons).

What stock should I pick for gift tags?
350gsm silk is the premium all-rounder – smooth, prints vividly, feels substantial. 350gsm kraft (natural brown) is artisan-style, suits organic / rustic / craft brands, Bracknell food and drink producers, and anything wanting a handmade feel. 350gsm uncoated is writable if you expect recipients or staff to handwrite on the tag (a gift-giver's message, a care instruction, a price). 400gsm conqueror is the premium textured option, suiting luxury retail and high-end wedding favours.
Do you supply the string or ribbon?
Yes, as an optional add-on, pre-threaded through the hole so the tags arrive ready to attach. Natural twine is the classic option and suits most retail and artisan use. Cotton ribbon (available in standard colours – white, red, cream, black, navy, green) suits wedding favours and Christmas. Satin ribbon (same colour range) is the premium upgrade for luxury retail. If you prefer to thread your own, we can supply tags with hole punched but no tie.
What shapes can you die-cut?
Anything within reason. Classic shapes (rectangles, squares, circles, scalloped edges) are standard options with no tooling cost. Custom shapes (a specific silhouette, a brand mark, a novelty outline) require one-off die-cutting tooling which adds a modest setup fee for the first order. Once the die is made, repeat orders are priced as standard. For one-off creative orders, laser-cut is an alternative to die-cutting and lets us cut any shape with no setup.
How quickly can you print gift tags?
48 hours from artwork approval is our standard turnaround from the Bracknell print room. Custom die-cut shapes add a working day for the die tooling on a first order. Urgent wedding or Christmas deadlines, call us on 01344 269692 – we can often do 24-hour on standard shapes for small runs. Collection from Bracknell or free local delivery across RG12 and RG42.
What is the minimum order?
50 gift tags is our minimum. Most Bracknell wedding orders are 100 to 250 tags. Retail product orders vary widely – anywhere from 500 (small boutique) to 10,000+ (fashion brand). Christmas corporate gift programmes typically order 100 to 1,000 tags as part of a broader gift package run.
