Specifications.

Magnetic signs are a flexible magnet sheet with a full-colour printed face. They stick to any ferrous metal surface (steel, iron) without damage, and can be removed and repositioned as many times as you want. Ideal for sole-trader vans that need signage some days but not others, for hire vehicles, and for whiteboards or filing cabinets that need branded labels.

Our standard is 0.85mm flexible magnet, which is thick enough to stay attached to a van at motorway speeds, but thin enough to roll and store. Full colour CMYK on a matt vinyl face, with optional lamination for outdoor durability. Every magnetic sign is cut to size at our Bracknell print shop.

Frequently asked.

Will magnetic signs stay on my van at motorway speeds?
Yes, as long as the surface is clean, flat, steel (not aluminium), and the magnet is fitted correctly. Our 0.85mm magnets are standard trade weight and have been used on service vans, courier vehicles, and hire cars around Bracknell and the M4 corridor for decades without issues. Two tips: always clean the vehicle panel before fitting (dirt and wax reduce grip), and lift the magnet off for a wash rather than putting the van through a car wash with magnets on.
Can magnetic signs be reused?
Yes, they can be removed and refitted as many times as you want, with no adhesive residue or paint damage. That makes them ideal for sole traders who want signage on the van for work and off at the weekend, for hire vehicles that change hands, and for any situation where permanent graphics would not suit. Store flat, printed side up, in a cool dry place between uses.
What size vehicle magnet do I need?
For a standard panel van (Transit, Sprinter, Vivaro) 450 × 600 mm on each side is our most popular size, which leaves a small margin around the doors and handles. For a smaller van or car, 300 × 450 mm is usually right. Tell us your vehicle and the panel area you want to cover, and we will advise. Custom cuts to fit specific panel shapes are no problem.
How quickly can you print magnetic signs?
Most magnetic sign orders leave our Bracknell print room within 48 hours of artwork approval. For a single pair of van magnets we can often turn around in 24 hours if you order before lunchtime. Once printed, collect from Longshot Lane in Bracknell or we will deliver free locally across RG12 and RG42.
Do you offer laminated magnetic signs?
Yes. Matt or gloss lamination adds durability and UV resistance, which matters if the vehicle lives outside year-round rather than being garaged. Laminated magnets last 3 to 5 years of outdoor use without colour fade; unlaminated magnets typically last 2 years before UV starts to affect the print. Lamination is a small additional cost and we recommend it for any permanent vehicle signage.
